COMMENTARY: PREJUDICE AND RACISM
IN THE AFTERLIFE?
We are informed directly from the afterlife that in
the lower regions, closest to earth, racial and other
prejudices still exist. On crossing over, people in
the afterlife dimension are exactly the same as when
they left their lives on earth. They have the same prejudices
about gender, race, nationality, religious beliefs and
so on. They are attracted automatically to people who
have the same values and beliefs and are usually only
in contact with them.
It is only when we get to the level of the Light, especially
in the upper sections of that level, that people no
longer hold dogmatic beliefs and prejudices disappear.
Racism and religious prejudice cannot exist at this
level where only love exists. Here there is no rivalry,
no competition with each other as we know it on earth.
Here there is more co-operation with each other, more
understanding about making a contribution.

WILLIAM TILLER: A SPIRITUAL SCIENTIST

incredible academic background. For many years he worked
at Stanford University as a full Professor with tenure
in the Materials Science department. From the mid 1950s

James was a physician, philosopher and Professor of
Psychology at Harvard University. The son of a Swedenborgian
theologian, he was the author of The Varieties of
Religious Experience. He was also a founding member

IT'S JUST A RIDE Bill
Hicks (1961-1994) was an American stand-up comedian, writer,
social critic, satirist, and musician. He rejected his
family's Southern Baptist religious beliefs and instead
explored transcendental meditation, psychedelics and alternative
spirituality. One of his famous lines was "Today,
a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely
energy condensed to a slow vibration—that we are
all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively.
