COMMENTARY: WHEN YOU HAVE AN
AFTERLIFE EXPERIENCE In
the West we are bombarded by the materialist world
view that there is no evidence for the afterlife, that
psychic phenomena are all imagined and mediums are all
cold readers. This is the viewpoint pushed by academia
and the mainstream media. Having absorbed it, like the
air we breathe, many people become preoccupied with
the pressures of getting and keeping a job and see no
reason to investigate further.
Yet there comes a time when a personal
experience of the spirit world hits most people with
great force. For some, it is a spontaneous out-of-body
experience, or an experience of oneness, a near-death
experience, the death of a child or a partner or an
afterlife-death contact. For many people, such experiences
can be totally disorienting and life-changing.
At times like this, it is most important
for people to be able to access reliable information
about the afterlife and the nature of our multidimensional
reality. This might be through books and websites or
through a living teacher. It is also most valuable to
be able to connect with others who have had similar
experiences, either in face to face groups or in one
of the many afterlife-themed Facebook groups or zoom
groups.

overly impressed with the evidence for ITC (Instrumental

how a physical circle should be run, the role of sitters,

occurs. As with many tape recordings of this era, the
quality is not ideal. That said, it is well worth a
listen and gives us valuable information on how to develop
