This incomptent detective even, at one stage, interrogated a 9 year old son of the psychic without a protective adult or a lawyer. The police at this Police Station were not professionally informed how gifted psychics receive the accurate information psychically about everything that happened. The psychic- ignored by the police about where to find the victim - was able to find the body of missing nurse Melanie Uribe herself with her two young children. The autopsy showed that the murdered nurse Melanie had been kidnapped, viciously attacked and raped. Yet, the unprofessionally UNINFORMED closed minded-skeptic police detective actually booked Etta Smith - a gifted psychic- for murder, kidnapping and sexual assault.She spent four days in jail. Captain John Salvino, Captain of Detectives ad Foothill Division lied to the media when he told them police patrol found the body - did not tell them the police could not find the body, but that it was the psychic who found the victim's body. NEGLIGENCE AND INCOMPETENCE: One witness of the kidnapping of the nurse PAUL WOODS reported the incident to the police informing the police there were TWO colored guys who carjacked the victim! Secondly, and most serious, the victim nurse was raped! How on earth can a female psychic rape the victim when there was male semen? HELLO!! Thirdly, a female telephones the police telling them she knows who the murderer is and she has the 'killing weapon'. Fourthly, another guy telephones Detective Patrick Conway and said he knew who the murderes were. AT THIS STAGE, WHY WAS NOT THE PSYCHIC RELEASED FROM JAIL? PROFESSIONAL INCOMPETENCE and NEGLIGENCE? Decent people hope the police standards have dramatically increased since 1980 at this LAPD Police Station! This case is fantastic evidence for the effectiveness of some psychics in gathering physical evidence to solve crimes. It also shows that police officers in some states lack the professional expertise to deal with critical information given by gifted psychics. Etta Smith successfully sued the LAPD for false arrest. I would have advised Etta Smith to also sue the incompetent and aggressive detective (and procedurally the LAPD employing incompetent police officers) for negligence and for acting outside his statutory powers on a civil level, for interrogating minors without a representative.
