COMMENTARY: OPENING TO THE TRUTHS OF THE SPIRIT Sociologists tell us that our beliefs come first from our family, then our immediate friends, our education system, the media we are exposed to and from our culture. So by and large, the country you are born in usually determines your beliefs: if you were born in India, you're likely to be Hindu, in Israel, Jewish, In Iraq or Iran - a Moslem, Western Europe, UK, U.S.A. - you're likely to be Christian. In modern Russia and China - you're very likely to be an atheist. Many people say they are ready to die for their religious beliefs. Yet, if they were born in a different country, they would probably be ready to die for opposing beliefs.
These days, information about death and the afterlife is moving out of the control of the various religions and people everywhere have access to freely available information on the internet. More and more people are having near-death and other spiritually transformative experiences and are open to direct spiritual input. As Silver Birch put it "The future does not belong to the conventional theologians. They have nothing to offer. The future belongs to those truths of the spirit that can satisfy the mind and the soul of all those who yearn to know".

Global Gathering: Inge Crosson created the Wallacia Development Centre in Sydney Australia for the exploration of physical mediumship in 2010 with two purpose-built séance rooms, a large workshop room, and a healing room.
