ATHEISTS
MISTAKENLY BELIEVE THERE IS NO GOD
The most frequent argument made by atheists
is that there are huge problems in the world which negate
the existence of a loving God.
Atheists argue that because there is poverty, disease, injustice,
cruelty, and much suffering there cannot be a loving God.
But theists explain that the earth-world has been
created as a place where spirits incarnate for a short amount
of time in order to learn spiritual lessons; to treat people
in a decent way, to help others as much as they can, to
always be honest in every way, to remove injustice and
to control negativity.
Theists call this continuous spiritual refinement
which occurs when we overcome hardships and resistance.
They also say that focusing on the suffering
in the universe does not negate the fact that the universe
would not exist without the God-Mind that created it.
Most theists point to the overwhelming
grandeur of the universe which is, according to scientists,
some 93 billion light years in diameter, and contains trillions
of planets, stars and other heavenly bodies – all
obeying universal laws of ‘God’.
They point to the incredible complexity of life
that defies the possibility of being created by chance:
the trillions of atoms and billions of cells in a human
body – all individually and intelligently maintained
by God. They remain over-awed by the complexity of
DNA, the way that cells cooperate with and heal each other
and the miracle of reproduction of plants and animals.
Scientists agree the average human body contains
approximately 7 octillion (7– add 27 zeros).
7,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 atoms and cells all
manipulated by God.
And who has not been moved by the miracle of reproduction
– how two cells unite and are carried inside the mother,
being sustained by the mother’s bodily systems for
months until independently viable.
It is no wonder that those who have given
the matter serious attention have concluded that the following
are immeasurable attributes of God:
Creator of the Universe
Eternal
Perfection
Wisdom
Teacher
Intelligence
Creativity
Capacity to communicate with us.
Order
All Powerful
Spiritual – intrinsic and extrinsic– beyond
human understanding
The embodiment of Love
Forgiveness
Originator of ALL LAWS.
Energy
Cause and Effect (in most cases) God is generally regarded
as the ‘First Cause’
Consciousness
Eternity
Guidance
Protection
Healing
Light – spiritual and secular.
Omnipresent
Omniscient
Justice
Infallible
Motivator
Reads our mind
Capacity to heal us.
God is the Past, Present and the Future.
We specialists in afterlife evidence
have discovered that we can make contact with those who
have crossed over. Some of those who reside in the afterlife,
especially the spiritually advanced ones, give us critical
information about the bigger picture and the purpose of
life on Earth. They tell us that it is true that nothing
comes by chance – there is always a purpose for the
circumstances we create in life and in the other realms,
and that by taking time to appreciate and connect with God,
we can learn and benefit from the conditions here and create
much more favourable conditions for ourselves in the world
to come.
